Welcome to the University of Nottingham Handball Club!

The University of Nottingham Handball Club has a Men's and Women's team, playing in the Northern sections of the English National League. The club was founded in 1992 and is the largest Handball club in the Midlands. Last season, the club successfully hosted the 2009 University Championships, with the Men's team reaching the final against Oxford and the Women's team losing to the eventual winners Glasgow in the semi final.

The club is run by the students of Nottingham University and is open to male and female, postgraduate and undergraduates alike. The club has members with a wide range of skill levels, from experienced players to absolute beginners. Whether you want to play competitive handball, want to try the sport for the first time, or just want to improve your fitness and have some fun, come along to training!

To join the club you will need to get a membership and also sign up to use the University's sports facilities. We'll help you if you get stuck.

Training sessions are at University Park Sports Centre:

Tuesday, 9 - 10.30 pm
Thursday, 8.30 - 10.30pm
