Friday, February 1 2008: Games this weekend
Again, both teams are playing this weekend. Unfortunately the girls are playing in London on Saturday (meeting time: 10:30am in front of the sport centre) so there is not much chance to see us.

After the game we are heading to the pub. Don't miss that either!

Friday, January 25 2008: A couple of things!
Last night was Ute's last training, today she starts a rather long drive home to Germany. We thank Ms Neubert for all the energy and determination she gave to the female squad, I'm sure it won't be the same without her. On the other hand, I look forward to less injuries at training. Last game of the season is the 3rd February - we hope as many people as possible to turn up to University Park Sports Centre to cheer us on! Bring friends, family and anyone you just happen to pass by in the street.

Thursday, January 24 2008: A well needed update
Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas, New Year, Exam Period and any other events which I may have missed since the previous site update. Let's not dwell on such things, in the wise words of the Lion King "It doesn't matter, it's in the past now." Since that point though, both of our teams have won! Great start to the new year. The guys put in a splendid performance to beat Southampton and the girls managed to overcome Oxford seemingly easily. I'll try and include some reviews and photos over the next couple of days.

Sunday, December 9 2007: Post-Christmas Social
Happen it did. Happy, we are. Quite a few people gathered at the Ropewalk in Nottingham. It wasn't long after the start when my body hit a blood-to-sambuca ratio of 1:1. After an 'odd' trip to the nightclub, some great dancing followed. It was a pretty cool way to celebrate Christmas; thanks to all that attended.

Thurday, December 6 2007: Christmas Social
We have the christmas social this friday... we are not sure what is going to happen! But it is going to happen :) It is almost Christmas here in Nottingham, so that means we need to start making our christmas tree... which explains the website getting one!

Thurday, November 15 2007: Games and scouting on the weekend
As both teams have a game on the weekend and a few guys are busy with the scouts as well there won't be a training on Sunday. (We couldn't get into the sport centre anyway as there is a BUSA badminton championship.) Ladies team meet at 10:30am on Saturday in front of the sport centre. Mens team meeting time will appear soon.

Tuesday, November 6 2007: Results
Nottingham hosted 3 games on Sunday, most of which went by without any problems (thanks to great effort from Ute!) - both of our teams lost, but the men put in an encouraging performance. Hopefully the ladies kit problem will soon be resolved. Thanks to all who assisted, including the refs and table. Hopefully photos will soon be edited (to make me look pretty) and uploaded.

Friday, November 2 2007: Games on Sunday!!
We have quite a busy sunday here, the guys are playing at 1:30 (meet at 12.30 in front sports center, university park) and the girls are playing right after (at 3). I think it would be good for everybody (even the players who aren't registered) to show up and cheer for nottingham... or just make fun of Michael... (either way, sunday afternoons are usually boring... so you should come... I mean Mikey will give out free jokes at the end of the games... so you don't want to miss that!)

Thursday, October 18 2007: Handball Challenge Day on Sunday!!
Sunday, October 21st (University park sport center): Are you looking to have some fun/try a new sport?(as well as exercise a bit to burn off some calories gained from drinking) ... Come try handball with your friends at the university park sport center on sunday!!(We are especially looking for girls to get a stronger female's team...but everybody's welcome to show up!) Here is the schedule: 2:30-3 pm: watch handball videos 3-4:30 pm: introduction to handball 4:30-5 pm: game against each other

Wednesday, October 17 2007:
First men's game on sunday in London against Great Danes! Sebastian will be organising and coaching the team (07511524582). Don't forget to bring an ID as well as your team shirt/short. Meet at 10am in front of the sport center (university park) on sunday morning, don't be late!!
